Who I Am
My name is Aeden. I am a Bay Area native, artist, fabricator, designer and teacher. I have been involved with art my entire life. I went to college to earn a degree in Fine Art and Welding Technology. After that I started working in the large scale sculpture industry, being part of a team that produced the works of renowned artist, Anish Kapoor. Following that I was hired to build a state-of-the-art titanium welding facility. Now I operate my own business and run a welding program at a local school.
My practice implements hand craft and technology. In my approach to design, I use CAD software as well as drafting skills. Metal welding and fabrication are my primary focus. I often use 3D printers and CNC machines to realize my vision. I am extensively trained in high finish work. I also employ paint and powder-coating when appropriate.
